HR MANAGEMENT JOBS FAQs

People in HR management roles need excellent leadership, organisational, interpersonal and employee relations skills. They also need knowledge of performance management, talent acquisition, compensation strategy and welfare practices. 

HR management jobs often require a combination of practical experience and a higher education qualification. Some employers prefer candidates with a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) level 5 Diploma in HR management, or CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR Management. Equivalent work experience is often accepted.

People in HR management roles oversee staff performance, lead on staff recruitment and development and liaise with people managers and leadership. They might also manage workplace benefits, reward, learning and development and employee relations.
