HRBP, HR Business Partner, Employee Relations

Your new role
  • This is a 12mth FTC for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join the People Team to create value through trusted partnerships, by finding solutions that consider the experience of our employees and the interests of the organisation.
  • The People Partner (HRBP) are key contributors to positive employee experience in moments that matter and provide proactive solutions to enable our people to focus on our core purpose. They coach and train leaders for proactive early interventions.
  • The HRBP will operate on a balanced, neutral perspective to support successful navigation through challenging moments, which contributes to the positive reputation of the organisation, quickly adapting and dealing with emergent issues where needed as well as identifying long-term opportunities to enhance the employee experience and make a positive impact.
  • This role can be based 2 days a week in London or Burgess Hill. This role will cover the UK and Ireland but may be required to support additional countries from the North and Eastern Europe Network from time to time.
  • Consults and supports reorganisation/transformations and strategic workforce planning exercises
  • Manages projects related to key areas of responsibility (e.g. restructurings, negotiations with employee representations, conflict prevention) resulting from global/regional/local business needs
  • Manage the relationship with the local Unions by proactively identifying issues requiring information, advice or consent.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Demonstrated enterprise mindset and system thinking, proven ability to work effectively across multiple business areas, global teams and key leadership areas
  • Demonstrated consultation and influencing skills with a diverse group of stakeholders across the business
  • Deep domain experience in the areas of employee relations, a good understanding of performance management on a global scale (preferred), expert negotiation skills that diffuse volatile situations and result in course correction of people relationships.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the local Employment Law across the North and Eastern Europe Network, as well as the Middle East and Africa
  • Ideally, French language capabilities
