There are many Intelligent Automation jobs out in the market and all sectors and sizes of companies. Demand outstrips supply for people with the skills needed to succeed in this emerging field. People with direct experience are very much sought after in the current market, with RPA developers, RPA and IA consultants, as well as machine learning experts at all levels, being particularly in demand. 

Salaries vary widely depending on the role and sector focus within Intelligent Automation, as well as location, and type of company. Typically, though, jobs in this space can range from anywhere from graduate and entry level roles at circa £25,000 to lead roles at circa £80,000-£120,000 dependant on your specialist skills.  

Certain vendor certifications can be a requirement for RPA developers in this space, for example, UiPath, Blue Prism or accreditations from Automation Anywhere.   

This however can depend on the employer as they may well prefer more hands-on application and experience rather than the theoretical knowledge.  

For machine learning professionals, employers will often seek candidates with an educational background focused either in machine learning or data/numerate focused degrees.
