Trainee co secs typically earn £25,000-£30,000, depending on their location and prior expertise. An assistant co sec could see £50,000-£80,000.

For senior company secretaries, such as deputy co secs or those with group-wide responsibilities, it is very possible to earn over £150,000, with FTSE 100 salaries exceeding £300,000.
