A consultancy business in Oxford is looking for an Office Assistant.
Your new company
An exciting consultant business that has a professional yet welcoming environment where collaboration and high standards are at the forefront of everything they do. They're looking for someone who shares their commitment to excellence and can help them maintain a smooth and friendly front-of-house and office experience.
Your new role
As Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring they receive a warm and professional welcome. You’ll be responsible for managing the reception area, preparing meeting rooms, coordinating refreshments, and supporting the wider business with a range of administrative tasks. Your role will involve working closely with the Consultancy Support team, as well as liaising with HR, IT, and Facilities to ensure the office runs efficiently. You’ll also help organise team events, maintain office supplies, and assist with facilities management and health and safety compliance. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, and your contribution will be vital to the smooth operation of the Oxford office.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator with a polished and professional manner with previous experience in a similar role. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working independently. A collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting others are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. You’ll be well-presented, proactive, and comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support your work.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a salary of £30,000 and you’ll be joining a friendly and inclusive team that values your contribution and encourages growth. You’ll enjoy a varied role with plenty of opportunities to make a visible impact, and you’ll be part of a workplace that prioritises excellence, innovation, and collaboration. They offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with a supportive environment where your skills and initiative will be recognised and appreciated.
