Malachi helped me to find a new job, also he supported me during the whole process. He has a great ability to understand the field of expertise and that makes everything easier. I would recommend working with him.

Infrastructure is vital to the economy, and salaries can reflect this. A graduate structural engineer could typically expect to earn in the region of £25,000 a year, but this rises steeply with experience. For a senior structural engineer, there is potential to earn £60,000, while an associate could earn up to £75,000.

These figures will of course vary depending on factors such as location, expertise, and the job profile itself.

In addition to the technical skills required in most infrastructure jobs – such as those concerning numeracy and computer science – there are a number of soft skills needed to be successful in this challenging career.

For example, having a problem-solving mindset will be invaluable throughout every stage of a project, and it’s important that you can balance this with creativity and innovation. It’s also vital that you can work as part of a team, negotiate differences of opinion, and organise your time effectively.
