Your new company

You will be working as a Site Agent with an established contractor operating in the Inverness area. This role offers an immediate start and a permanent contract with a competitive salary package. You will be initially based on a project in Inverness with continued work in the local area.

Your new role

In your new role as a Site Agent, you will be the main point of contact for the contractor for the delivery of a construction project in Inverness. Your role will involve compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, ensuring that the site has a positive approach to safety. You will manage direct labour, plant and subcontractors, ensuring that all risk assessments are in place and reviewed and that all operatives on-site are effectively inducted and managed. You will be responsible for ordering plant and materials in conjunction with the supporting commercial team. You will manage the site in line with the construction phase plan and work with the wider site team to deliver a quality project, within the agreed timescale and within budget. This role requires you to hold a current SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certificate and have strong technical skills and experience in the civil engineering and construction sector. You must have excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to lead a project team to a successful end result.
