Project Manager - 12-month Fixed term

Hays is looking for an IT Project Manager for a manufacturing company based in Lichfield.
You will support the go live for their Franchise System implementation.
This role is Hybrid, 3 days onsite and some travel required to the Franchises based near Gatwick.
12 months Fixed Term contract - NO DAY RATE OPTION
  • Own the project plan and all supporting documents for the system, ensure documents are always up-to-date and accurate.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and deliver the system and operational improvements.
  • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regularly meet and liaise with management teams regarding overall progress, prioritise and resolve potential issues.
  • Work with and drive stakeholders to manage the delivery of a project to scope, costs and timescale and take full ownership of the implementation of the project.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and work with stakeholders to devise contingency plans as required.
  • Produce user and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows for projects and change work streams.
  • Ensure sufficient levels of test execute alongside User Acceptance Testing ng to ensure new features and improvements are fit for purpose and can be released with confidence.
  • Transition from development into live operation through a rigorous quality-controlled testing process.
  • Ensure the IT Support Team are trained on any new solutions or enhancements and can support them after launch.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews in order to assess if the objectives and benefits have been delivered successfully and create lessons learnt to identify areas of improvement for future projects.
  • Liaise with third party stakeholders, both colleagues and external partners, to deliver and implement the agreed solutions to improve business efficiency.
