Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join their team!

Your new role

• Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts.
• Posting and reconciliation of all bank transactions
• Posting all receipts
• Resolution of all uncleared bank postings over seven days
• Daily Bank reconciliation
• Reconciliation of various accounts.
• Preparation and issuing Debtors report.
• Raising of sundry TT/BACS payments.
• Creation and posting of various month end journals to Nominal Ledger.
• Allocation/transfer of commission between Trade Creditors and vehicle cost. Post receipts.
• Investigative and analytical support across the business
• Reconciliation of any balance sheet account
• Provision of data in a timely and detailed manner to HO as required for year-end audit purposes.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years’ experience working in an accounts department
• Advanced Excel
• Professional approach to work
• Be approachable
• Have a positive attitude which creates a good working environment
• Effective communication skill
