Job Title: Year 1/2 Class Teacher

Location: Westminster, London

Salary: Competitive, based on experience


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages positive behaviour.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably between Year 1 and Year 2.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
