Experienced F2 Teacher required for a Wallasey primary school for 1 year from September 2024

Your new company

We are seeking an experienced Foundation 2 Teacher to join the friendly and dynamic team at a welcoming primary school in Wallasey on the Wirral. The role is full-time for one year starting in September 2024. The school will consider experienced early years teachers from M2 scale upwards, as well as ECTs with significant EYFS teaching experience.


Your new role

As a Foundation 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cover all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will also be expected to assess and monitor the progress and development of your pupils, and provide regular feedback to parents and carers. You will work closely with other staff members and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of your pupils. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in professional development activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this early years teaching role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • At least a year's experience as an early years teacher
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice
  • A willingness to embrace new ideas and initiatives
