Your new role
Joining as a new graduate in September 2025, you'll begin to rotate around their main specialist areas, spending time being mentored by specialists in intangibles & attestation, branding & intellectual property, tech/fintech, sport, expert services and more.
A full job spec is available but your early responsibilities will involve preparing/assisting with Valuation reports for peer review by other associates and directors, including:
Company and business valuations and shareholdings - contentious and non-contentious intangible asset valuations including brands, trademarks, patents, customer intangibles and copyrights - contentious and non-contentious.
- Providing research and technical support (e.g., excel, Cap iQ, Xero) and in due course assistance and training for junior valuers and analysts.
- Applying valuation techniques and advanced valuation models e.g., Discounted Cashflow, Black Scholes, Monte Carlo, Earnings multiples, Gordon Growth and similar.
- Assisting with business development to expand business, pitching new projects including fee estimate negotiation.
- Preparing and reviewing reports and models prepared by colleagues.
- Being a secondary client contact point and undertaking client meetings in UK and worldwide
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a 2025 graduand or 2024 graduate from a highly numerical discipline, with strong preference given to:
Mathematics
Economics
- Finance/Business
In addition:
- A team player who enjoys working in a small team.
- Interest in commercial businesses and measuring their value.
- Interest in valuing intangible assets
- Ideally (but not essential) a relevant internship or work experience gained during your degree
