Technical Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support, 3rd Line Support

Role: Technical Support Engineer
Location: East Midlands
Rate: £240 p/d Inside IR35
Duration: 3 Months initial

Hays Technology are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join an exciting public sector client's team.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage and support all IT infrastructure services across multiple sites
  • Providing technical support
  • Working collaboratively across the department
  • Play an active role in supporting user base, team members and colleagues,
  • 1st to 3rd line level technical support
  • Working with servers
  • Working with ITIL, cabinet management, Wan and Lan

What we are looking for:
  • 1st to 3rd line support experience
  • Knowledge of service systems' device support and configuration, including data and systems recovery
  • Knowledge of network technologies
  • Awareness of hardware and security tools
  • Knowledge of current applications
  • Experience with ITIL
