We are currently working with a dedicated and dynamic team who are looking to recruit a Team Manager on a permanent basis. The Safeguarding team plays a crucial role in protecting children at risk, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Manager to lead this.
Your new role
- Lead and manage the Safeguarding Team, ensuring high standards of practice and performance.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of safeguarding services.
- Provide supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding practices and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a safeguarding role, with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
- Previous management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Relevant professional qualification in social work.
- SWE Registered.
- Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle.
