We are currently working with a dedicated and dynamic team who are looking to recruit a Team Manager on a permanent basis. The Safeguarding team plays a crucial role in protecting children at risk, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Manager to lead this.

Your new role

  • Lead and manage the Safeguarding Team, ensuring high standards of practice and performance.
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of safeguarding services.
  • Provide supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality services.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a safeguarding role, with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
  • Previous management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional qualification in social work.
  • SWE Registered.
  • Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle.
