Your new company
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an amazing school in the Warrington area. The school is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will be within a specialist education provision who pride themselves on encouraging independence and personal development through communication, engagement, laughter and learning.

Your new role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will either be supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. In this role you will need to establish a supportive caring relationship with the children in order to support them in feeling and comfortable. On a daily basis you will be expected to look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare whilst creating an interesting environment for pupils to learn in. This role will be as rewarding as It is challenging and has the potential to be for the full academic year.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Experience of working with children either within or outside a school setting
  • Ability to work within small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification, ideal but not essential.
  • Experience working within a classroom environment or a professional environment with children or young people
  • Ability to work alongside children with SEN needs.
  • Fun, positive and outgoing approach.
  • Understanding of the EHCP, ideal but not essential.
  • Current DBS or willingness to get one Is necessary.
