Location: Various Primary Schools in Bristol
Type: Part-time and full-time positions available
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and enhancing the educational experience of our students. You will work with children both individually and in small groups, providing assistance with learning activities, behaviour management, and supporting children with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lesson plans.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Encourage students to develop independence and self-confidence.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • A passion for education and working with children.
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role or similar position (preferred but not essential).
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with children.
