A successful and multi-award-winning firm based in Belfast is seeking a talented recent university graduate, or final year university student, to join their corporate tax team as an Associate. A chance to begin your career with a leading practice, and to grow as a professional through completing tax qualifications whilst gaining significant hands-on experience with senior clients.

Your new role

In this role, you will deal with a portfolio of corporate clients working to budget and to key deadlines. Advising on corporation tax liabilities, you will prepare tax provisions, computations and returns, whilst assisting on ad hoc taxation matters. Undertaking general administration tasks, you will have the opportunity to communicate with HM Revenue & Customs. Taking your professional tax qualifications (ATT and CTA) with full study support, you will progress onto complex work with mentor support, and have the opportunity to learn and work alongside seasoned tax professionals.

What you'll need to succeed

You are a recent university graduate or final year university student with a strong academic record, or someone with significant work experience who is looking to use their transferrable skills to change career and undertake your AAT and CTA. You are interested in corporate tax and are keen to pursue a career in the sector, utilising strong numeracy and literacy skills. You are comfortable communicating with colleagues, as well as senior clients, and are committed to delivering accurate work to a deadline.
