Your new role
As the CSR and Sustainability lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding the company towards ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable business practices. You will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement strategies that align with the commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability goals. This position requires an understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
CSR Strategy Development:
Work closely with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive CSR strategy aligned with the organisation's mission and values.
Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and innovation in CSR initiatives.
Sustainability Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into business operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Advise on environmentally friendly practices, resource efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of transparency and engagement around CSR and sustainability initiatives.
Communicate effectively with employees, customers and community partners to promote understanding and support for sustainability efforts.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay abreast of relevant CSR and sustainability regulations and industry best practices.
Oversee the preparation of regular reports on the organisation's CSR and sustainability performance, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Employee Training and Awareness:
Support training programs to educate employees on CSR and sustainability practices, fostering a sense of responsibility and engagement at all levels of the organisation.
Metrics and Analysis:
Analyse data and provide insights to improve and enhance existing programs.
What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge of ESG principles and reporting frameworks.
Willing to travel across the UK
Full Driving Licence
