Your Role as a Supply Teacher:
In the absence of the regular teacher, you’ll take charge of the classroom, deliver lessons based on plans left by the class teacher, ensure student progress by marking books and providing relevant feedback, observe student behaviour and enforce the school’s behavioural policy, and please report any safeguarding issues promptly to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL).

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or ECT: You should have experience teaching within the last 5 years.
  • Familiarity with Primary School National Curriculum: Adaptability to different year groups and teaching methods.
