SQL SME - 6 months+ ongoing contract - Remote working - Inside IR35 - BPSS/SC Clearance will be conducted

Job Role

Performing the mainframe data migration for their client.
This involves transforming DB2, IDMS, VSAM and flat-files to the Microsoft SQL Server Platform.

We will require someone with the following skills and experience:

Must have:

SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistant)
ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Log Analyser
Advance UI
Need someone who can take ownership and deliver.

The skills required are:

In depth knowledge
SQL
Knowledge of Azure Platform Systems & SQLMI
In Depth Experience of using Microsoft SSMA & Azure Factory Tools for DB2 migration from Mainframe to Azure SQLMI
Experience of migration of IDMS Databases systems to Azure SQLMI
Knowledge of Scripting in SQL and Python
Troubleshooting of issues related to data conversion between Mainframe databases to Azure SQLMI
Knowledge of DB2 Databases
Database Administration
Experience of Complex migrations to Azure Platform
SC Clearance required
