Software Engineer, £35000 - £45000, North Devon (Hybrid)


My client is looking for a software engineer to become an integral part of the development team. Working within a scrum framework, you will be responsible alongside your teammates for the design and development of new product features on their advertising platform.

Ideal Experience
  • PHP, HTML, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience as a Developer, developing large web-based project or API.
  • Experience with Git or other Version Control.
  • Appreciation of Unit/Integration/E2E testing.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of the importance of security.
  • Strong engineering mindset.

Additional experience, but not required.
  • Experience with using docker containers for local development.
  • Advanced Git knowledge.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte.
  • Cloud infrastructure concepts (Azure)
  • Understanding the difference between CI and CD.
