70k, hands off, Software Development Manager, 2 days in office

Your new role
As the Software Development Manager, you will enter the organisation with expertise and know how to quickly get up to speed with current business systems, to allow planning to begin for the transformation project. You will be given the freedom to construct your own development team and will be responsible for managing and delivering on project objectives. The role is predominantly hands-off, although a small amount of hands-on may be required at times.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential
- Strong experience and understanding of a coding language, e.g. Java OR Python OR C#
- Strong experience working with APIs and third-party applications

Desirable
- Experience with Rust OR GO would be a bonus
- Previous experience managing and constructing software teams is desirable but not essential, providing the successful candidate can demonstrate the necessary qualities to effectively do so.
- Prior experience working for a not-for-profit organisation
