Social Value Officer/Liason required to support leading third sector orginisation in LIvingston £33k
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a social value officer within leading third sector organisation based in Livingston.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to make a large impact within local communities. This role will have you overseeing the allocation and spend of funds across 13 businesses who have submitted social value project bids. You will be responsible for meeting with clients then assessing the viability and delivery of the projects. This could range from Foodbank start up's to local employability programs, for example. Therefore a large amount of community engagement and business liaison is a key part of this role.
The ideal candidate will hold a background in some form of social value, community engagement or CSR. This, coupled with knowledge of funding allocation or budget control would be desirable. Strong IT and communication skills are a key part of this role.
This opportunity has a strong salary package and
large holiday allowance along with flexi and hybrid working. The successful candidate would also be entitled to a large pension contribution and company benefits across a 36 hour working week.
