Your new company

Rossie is a registered Scottish charity established in 1857, dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people aged 10-18 who have experienced multiple adverse childhood experiences. Their services include Secure Care, Residential Care, Education, Specialist Interventions, Health and Wellbeing, Throughcare, and Learning and Development. They are committed to creating a trauma-informed, child-centred environment that maximises the potential and wellbeing of the young people in their care.
Rossie has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Senior Leadership and Management Team (SLMT) as the Service Development Manager – Interventions, Health and Staff Development. This role has become available due to the retirement of the current post holder.

Your new role

In this role, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including psychology, specialist intervention practitioners, healthcare professionals, and the learning and development team. You will liaise with external health partners and universities to develop services in the best interests of our young people. You will oversee the operational performance and service delivery of the Specialist Interventions, Health and Wellbeing (SIHW) team in line with strategic objectives, provide effective line management to the Quality, Improvement and Wellbeing Manager, and ensure ethical and professional standards are met as per HCPC and BPS guidelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with Care and Education teams to deliver multidisciplinary services, manage relationships with GP, dental services, and NHS Tayside, and oversee the Learning and Development Coaches to ensure effective delivery of the training agenda.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced, ambitious, resilient, and committed senior leader who is dynamic and enthusiastic about promoting positive change in the lives of vulnerable young people. Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on multidisciplinary team coordination, along with excellent communication and relationship management abilities, are essential for this role.

What you'll get in return

Rossie offers a comprehensive benefits package, including an employee Assistance Programme, Occupational Sick Pay, on-site gym (indoor & outdoor), on-site swimming pool, Hep B vaccinations, on-site flu vaccinations, and night care health assessments. You will also benefit from a comprehensive induction programme, 50% funded qualifications, online certified training, continuing personal development, career & promotional opportunities, self-directed learning via departmental hubs, and internal CALM & SVQ opportunities.
In addition, you will benefit from an established progressive pay scale, an accredited living wage, employer pension contribution of 17% - 23% (service dependent), Blue Light Card membership, access to Capital Credit Union, free on-site parking, cover cost of PVG, long-service recognition reward, and canteen & catering services.
