Your new role

Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage financial and management accounting. This role involves financial reporting for existing entities, establishing processes for new ones, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare/review financial statements in line with IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Lead quarter-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly management reporting and consolidations.
  • Oversee asset and property management reporting to landlords.
  • Provide performance reporting to lenders.
  • Support financial accountants and corporate transactions.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules and ensuring compliance.
  • Help mentor junior accountants

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of the broader real estate or construction sector is advantageous.
  • Strong technical understanding of accounting standards (FRS 102, IFRS, Companies Act).
  • Experience in improving financial close processes to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
