Science Technician - GIrls' School - £19,359 actual salary

TERM TIME – PLUS 2 WEEKS IN THE SUMMER
REQUIRED SEPTEMBER 2025
SALARY: NJC 3 FTE £27,729 (ACTUAL SALARY £19,359)
Based on 28.5 hours per week term time plus two weeks during the summer - working hours will be Monday to Thursday 09:30 to 16:00, 30 min break, Friday 09:30 to 14:00, No lunch break.

Your new role
We are seeking a reliable, organised, and flexible Science Technician to support our vibrant science department. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal, ICT, and communication skills. Experience in a school setting is desirable.

Key responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality science education.
  • Prepare and maintain scientific equipment and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental and school-wide policies.
