About the role

This school is seeking a dedicated and proactive School Premises Officer to oversee the management and upkeep of our school facilities and grounds. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our premises, contributing to a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the security and safety of the school premises, including daily opening and locking procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address minor repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the school site.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialised tasks.
  • Manage health and safety compliance, maintaining detailed records.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or unforeseen incidents.
Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
