About the role:

This school is seeking an experienced and highly organised School Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school. This pivotal role ensures the smooth functioning of the office, supporting staff, students, and parents while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the school office, ensuring an efficient administrative service.
  • Supervise office staff, delegating tasks and providing leadership.
  • Oversee admissions, attendance, and data management systems.
  • Maintain and update school records, including staff and student information.
  • Handle correspondence, scheduling, and general communication with parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Manage financial administration, including budgets, invoices, and procurement.
  • Support HR processes, including budgets, invoices, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies.
Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in school administration or office management.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in school management systems such as SIMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of school policies, safeguarding requirements, and compliance procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
