Key Responsibilities
  • Keeping the school clean, safe, and secure at all times.
  • Handling routine maintenance and minor repair tasks.
  • Monitoring and managing facilities, including heating, lighting, and security systems.
  • Preparing spaces for school events and activities as required.
  • Performing regular safety checks, including fire safety inspections.
  • Supervising external contractors to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Supporting outdoor upkeep, including basic gardening and grounds maintenance.
Key Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Practical skills for DIY tasks and minor repairs.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
