Risk & Assurance Officer required - 3 months (Housing)
I am currently working with a leading housing organisation based in Edinburgh that support the housing needs of vulnerable people in the area. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Assurance Manager to join a pre existing team of housing professionals. (2 Months approx.)
The team are seeking to appoint a talent individual to join their housing assets and leadership team on a temporary basis.
This role will see you developing and improving housing a and care quality assurance processes across the estate. Alongside maintaining and managing the ongoing improvement audits based on risk levels you uncover. You will conduct evaluations across various sites, collaborating with local teams to identify improvements that can be made.
You will be responsible for the analysis, review and implementation of actions to support tenants whilst liaising with management - ensuring all work is realistic and essential.
The ideal candidate will come from a housing or risk background. Candidates with experience across housing associations, local authorities or similar will be considered. The ideal candidates should have experience within a regulated industry and hold knowledge of audit and improvement.
Within this role you will be both office and site based, where you will need your own transport. All locations within local areas - mileage will be paid at a standard rate.
A strong hourly rate, circa £35-37k is on offer along with flexi and hybrid working
