Release Manager – Azure / AWS, CI/CD, SDLC
Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Glasgow / Hybrid

My client is a high profile Consultancy who are working closely with a widely recognised end client and require a Release Manager with strong Release and Project Management experience and working knowledge of Software Release Management tooling relating to Azure / AWS and CI/CD integration.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Release Manager in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager with solid understanding of PM principles
  • Strong Build and Release experience with strong understanding / knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Proven ability to measure and monitor progress to ensure Application Releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Forward plan the Release windows and cycles across a Portfolio
  • Experience of communicating all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
  • Ability to manage relationships and co-ordinate work between different teams in different locations
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Ability to produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Flexible approach towards hybrid working

Nice to have:
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodology
  • PMP / Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Project Management certification
  • Immediate availability
