Reception/ Year 1 Teaching job in Central Bristol

Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable Key Stage 1 teacher to work at a Primary School in Bristol. The school is dedicated to ensuring the first years of a pupil’s primary school journey are as inclusive and comfortable as possible so will be looking for someone who is ready to become an integral part of the Primary School journey for the children. The role will be shared with another teacher so the school will be looking for someone who is willing to collaborate and work effectively as part of a strong teaching team.
Your new role
This role is on a part time basis working on a Wednesday and Thursday and will be suited to those who have a passion for the early years Primary School teaching. The school will be looking for somebody who is adaptable and open to a class of varying ability as the class is a mixed Reception and Year 1 class; the role is open to strong ECT's. The successful candidate will have routine day to day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. There will be some additional classroom responsibilities such as planning and marking required – the full details of these will be ascertained before you start so you can me remunerated appropriately. If you have a passion for the early stages of Primary Teaching then this role will be perfect for you.
What you'll need to succeed
- You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
- Experience in teaching Key Stage 1 is preferred.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
