Regulatory | Radioactive | Hybrid/Remote | Full Time

You will be working for a government agency who specialise in environmental science. You will be working in their Regulatory department specialising in radioactive substances.

Key requirements

  • Assessments of radioactive waste releases.

  • Inspect premises from the nuclear sector to determine compliance.

  • Undertake investigations.

  • Assist in the development of environmental performance measures and outputs.

  • Understanding externally generated technical, scientific and legal information.



Requirements
  • Knowledge of legislation about radioactive substances.
  • A degree in environmental or life science or a degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of emergency planning.
  • 3 years or more experience working on radioactive substances.
