Quantity Surveyor role for a tier 1 contractor across Norfolk and Suffolk

Your new company

You will be working for a tier 1 contractor that specialises in commercial building projects across health, leisure and defence projects valued up to £20million.

Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and oversee the cost planning, budgeting, and cost control processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise project costs while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations in accordance with the project's requirements.
  • Analyse and report on project costs, risks, and budget performance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure project compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Quantity Surveying degree

  • Proven experience as a QS, ideally for a tier 1 contractor

  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management techniques.

  • Familiarity with project management software and tools

  • Full UK driving licence
