Quantity Surveyor - Construction - Leicester - Commercial - New Build
Your new company
You will be joining a major contractor working on a project of £50m + based in Leicester. This contractor have a strong reputation and are focused on delivering the best service to their clients. They do a mixture of work, but this particular project is in their major projects division and will last 3+ years. Once the project is completed, you will be based in their East Midlands office working on local projects.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:- Enhance Profitability: Continuously improve commercial processes and procedures to
boost profits. - Cost Optimisation: Efficiently manage and minimise unnecessary costs and inefficiencies.
- Cash Flow Maximisation: Ensure optimal cash flow by handling valuations, invoicing, and payment receipts.
- Final Account Oversight: Managing final accounts, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Financial Forecasting: Provide forecasts to set targets and effectively manage the business.
- Resource Monitoring: Keep a close eye on resources and costs to meet project targets.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have previous experience as a QS or Assistant QS working on major commercial projects.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £55k + £4k car and pension contribution of 8%
