Your new role
Your new role is a dual role of Quality & Safety Officer. This position requires someone who is knowledgeable about ISO standards, is hands-on and not afraid to roll up their sleeves. The role is officer level, with a heavy focus on supporting senior management with administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for risk assessments, document control, and auditing.
What you'll need to succeed
- NEBOSH (Occupational or Construction) or Quality Management Systems certification.
- Knowledge of incident & accident investigations.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety, Quality Policies, JMS, SSOW, RAMS, and other QMS documentation.
- Experience in risk & hazard management.
- Knowledge of and maintaining ISO standards 45001, 9001, 14001 accreditations.
- Auditing experience of internal departments.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company at client meetings and visits.
- Ability to monitor and review safety & quality processes and procedures.
- Understanding of document control procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and cover holiday periods.
- A full clean driving licence
