Your new role

• Full procurement responsibility for a small team
• Developing, implementing and leading overall commodity strategies
• Negotiate, execute and monitor contractual agreements with key suppliers
• Leading negotiations and supporting development of multimillion £ projects
• Working closely with multiple internal stakeholders within a fast-paced work environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Direct purchasing experience within complex manufacturing sectors like Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Aviation, Oil and Gas etc.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive with commercial business acumen, problem-solving abilities to think out-of-the-box
• Experience with people management and direct reports
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment
