Hays are proud to be working with a not for profit organisation in Greater Manchester looking for a Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger on temp to perm contract.
Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, including:
Processing invoices
Dealing with suppliers and chasing refunds
Supplier statements reconciliations
Preparing BACS payments
Support the wider finance team with administration and financial processes
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have:Proven experience in an purchase ledger role, preferably within the public or not for profit sector.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills
