Project Support Officer, Birmingham, £300-£350 per day, Hybrid Working

About the Role:
Hays is currently recruiting a Project Support Officer for a local council, offering a competitive rate of £300-£350 per day with a hybrid work pattern. This role is integral to providing essential support to the Commissioning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Programme team, including the Programme Lead, Commissioning Manager, Communication Officer, and Workstream Leads.
• Support in the co-ordination of large-scale, complex projects with significant risk.
• Utilise specialist knowledge and best practice service improvement tools and techniques.
• Manage performance and project planning while fostering collaborative relationships.

Ideal Candidate:
• Highly organised with a strong background in local government.
• Familiar with working in politically sensitive environments.
• Experienced in data input and reporting, as well as reviewing and analysing provider returns.
• Driven to deliver successful transformation and improve outcomes for children and families.
• Ability to co-ordinate multiple different workstreams and stakeholders.
