Your new role

We have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our client’s team in London. The team works on a hybrid working basis.
  • Contract: 6 months
  • Daily rate: £450 per day through umbrella
  • Hours: 40, Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior Project Manager, to be responsible for the hands-on delivery of product launch projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality targets. You will manage projects that align with our client’s strategic direction, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction through transparent communication and effective issue resolution.

Project Manager responsibilities
  • Lead the hands-on delivery of product launch projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Ensure high stakeholder satisfaction through transparent communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Implement and manage appropriate project governance structures, including requirements definition, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Actively manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation actions where appropriate.
  • Support the Programme/Portfolio Manager in creating and tracking project plans and producing regular reports and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project time and spend, identifying and reporting any potential risks to the Programme/Portfolio Manager.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Experience in delivery management, particularly in product launches.
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment delivering to immovable commercial deadlines.
  • The ability to build relationships across relevant areas of the business and with external stakeholders.

Desirable experience:
  • Project / Programme Management accreditations: MSP Practitioner, Prince 2, AOM, PMI, APMP.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or equivalent corporate environment.
  • SAFe/Agile certified or detailed knowledge.
