Project Lead – (Resi New build) – North London - £85,000

Our client is an established D&B contractor with a current project pipeline of £15M. These are a mix of high end mid-rise residential apartments and family homes in North West London, at various stages from piling to frame to fit out.

They have a need for a degree qualified Project Manager to join and support the business.

While managing your initial projects you will be integrated into the family business and support and assist, evidencing the value of establishing systems. You will manage your own projects as well as implementing new structures and processes with the medium-term view to allow the business to take on bigger projects.

They have recently implemented PlanRadar as a business and are keen to innovate.

Your PM role will entail:

  • Ensuring the delivery of the projects within time scales and to budget.
  • Overseeing and monitoring progress against time, cost, H&S and quality requirements for the project. Review package allowances, programme and project plans.
  • Maintain regular liaison and communication with QS, Architects, Site Managers to ensure coordination of construction activities.
  • Developing internal and external client relationship, manage client expectations, and ensure construction activities.
  • Monitoring legal, contractual, and financial aspects of the project.
  • Monitoring design and construction risks; develop and implement actions to mitigate risks and manage issues that pertain to time, cost, and quality
  • Prepare and/or review regular construction project reports, being familiar with details of cost, program, site progress, risks etc to enable informed discussion and decision making
  • Develop, or oversee the development of the Project programs. Manage and monitor project delivery against time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Direct all aspects of project delivery on time
  • Lead the construction project team including providing guidance and direction on implementing the project strategy, program and budget.

You will have:

  • A relevant industry qualification (Degree or equivalent)
  • 7 or more years relevant project management experience including a similar role covering RC frame construction.
