Highways Project Engineer
Your new company
You will be joining an established Civil Engineering company based in Nottingham working on highways schemes in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
As Project Engineer you will be responsible for, but not limited to, creating and overseeing the delivery of highways and civil engineering projects, offering specialist design/technical/cost advice to counterparts, overseeing the evaluation and approval of engineering schemes that are externally designed as well as managing communications with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or experience equivalent) and have working knowledge of highway design and civil engineering standards, contracts and procedures. In addition, you will have strong computer skills (e.g. with AutoCAD, Civils3D or MicroDrainage) and experience of managing project budgets and financial reporting of programmes. Finally, you will be a driven individual and be able to work as part of a team and individually.
