Your new role

As a Production Unit Manager, you will oversee the production unit, including areas such as finishing and sorting. Your responsibilities will include managing daily and weekly production volumes, driving performance, and implementing continuous improvement projects. You will ensure customer deliveries are met in terms of quantity, quality, and cost, and organise the management structure of the unit to adapt to volume forecasts and budgets. Additionally, you will be responsible for stock management, performance analysis, and reporting, as well as mobilising staff for continuous improvement initiatives and first-level maintenance.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Experience in production management, industrial organisation, and continuous improvement is essential. You should be able to analyse and drive performance, forecast production volumes, and implement effective management structures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with support functions are also crucial. Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
