Your new role

As Production Team Leader, you will provide leadership to a team of people in all aspects of production, training, Health & Safety, housekeeping, Quality, appraisals, projects and discipline in a specific area of control. You will have day-to-day responsibility for achieving the high standards of production and quality required within Production Departments. You will play an integral part in improvement initiatives through team motivation and leading by example.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience (3+ years) preferably in a high-speed continuous processing manufacturing environment and will ideally hold an NVQ Level III in Management or a recognised management qualification. You should have good IT skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. It is essential that you demonstrate a strong technical background and be prepared to get involved in a “hands on” capacity when required. You should also demonstrate practical experience of planning, scheduling and performance monitoring and have excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.

What you'll get in return

You will be working in a shift position, normal working hours will be 8am to 8pm and vice versa. These hours may be subject to change due to business needs. All shift patterns consist of rotating day and night shifts. You will earn a competitive salary for the role with 5.6 weeks of annual leave per annum.
