Your new role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our production scheduling, coordinating workflows, managing resources, and ensuring clear communication between teams and customers. This is a fast-paced role where your ability to juggle priorities, solve problems, and maintain strong relationships will drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Plan and manage daily/weekly production schedules across multiple departments, optimising efficiency, minimising costs, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Internal Coordination: Act as the key liaison between Converting, Machinery, Sales, Customer Support, and Management, keeping everyone aligned on schedules and priorities.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations with professionalism.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain accurate records, track KPIs, and contribute to enhancing scheduling processes and tools.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in production coordination, scheduling, or operations support, ideally in manufacturing, packaging, or engineering.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate internally and engage with customers.
  • Proficiency in production/WMS systems, SAGE (or similar), and Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience with technical/engineering products or multi-department coordination would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices would be desirable.

What you'll get in return

The role comes with a highly competitive salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum and a strong benefits package. You will have a great opportunity to develop your career in a growing organisation that are not looking to stand still.
