Interim Procurement Specialist - IT / SaaS - Up to £550 per day

Your new role

Hays are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation in their search for a Procurement Specialist. As a Procurement Specialist, you will act as the Procurement lead for the IT Category and will collaborate closely with the Head of Procurement, senior IT stakeholders and key suppliers / vendors.
Candidates will be required to have experience of tendering and contract managing large, complex SAAS contracts (ie Salesforce CRM & ERP) with knowledge and experience at operating within the public sector procurement regulations, including using framework agreements from CCS, G-Cloud etc. Experience of managing contracts against fixed deliverables is essential, to ensure commercial and operational resilience. ie SoWs with implementation milestones, SLA's and KPI's.
Partner management experience particularly in the design and implementation of IT contracts and in driving great performance from partners would be advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think strategically and able to blend technical, operational and commercial strategic considerations in their decision-making.
