Procurement Specialist - Contract, Temp Procurement Specialist
Your new company:
Hays are delighted to be partnering with an established public sector organisation in their search for an experienced Regulated Procurement Officer to join them on an interim basis. 6-month contract with scope for extension.
Please note: this is a hybrid working opportunity which requires minimal office presence. However, the client is not willing to accept candidates from outside of Scotland.
Public Sector experience is essential for this role. Please only apply if you have worked within public sector procurement regulations.
Your new role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Stakeholder and supplier engagement
- Upholding regulated procurement processes throughout the organisation
- Supporting the wider procurement team and manager in day-to-day tasks
- Contract management
What you'll need to succeed:
A successful applicant will have:
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant experience in public sector regulated procurement
- The ability to take initiative
- Experience working through Frameworks
- Experience running end-to-end tenders
