Procurement Officer - Remote Working - London

Your new company

You will be working with one of the UK’s leading consultancy firms, with offices up and down the UK. You will be supporting some of the largest Infrastructure or IT Procurement transformation projects being undertaken in the UK at the moment. Projects cover a wide variety of industries, from defence and aviation, to financial and professional services.

Your new role

You will be joining this organisation as a procurement consultant, supporting their energy client base in delivering large construction projects, from a commercial standpoint. You will work closely with Senior Procurement Consultants to help deliver billion-pound projects. You will support this by preparing a wide variety of documentation, as well as running complex tender events. You will work alongside project teams to drive your understanding of project requirements and suitable suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have previous experience preparing a variety of procurement documentation such as RFP, RFI, IFB, PR etc. Ideally, this will be gained within the energy sector. However, this is not a prerequisite. Prior experience working within large scale, high value programmes will also be highly advantageous for this role. You would ideally hold a relevant degree such as business management, finance or procurement and supply chain. You should be highly driven and self-motivated, with the ability to proactively manage your own workload.

What you'll get in return

You will be entitled to a competitive base salary, depending on level of experience, along with a bonus structure dependent on business and personal performance. You will also be entitled to an industry leading L&D package, with fully sponsored CIPS development with an assigned senior mentor from within the business. You will have 25 days annual leave along with the ability, after that, to buy and sell holiday entitlements. This role also offers a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex procurement projects with the security of a full-time permanent position.
