Procurement Manager, Purchasing Lead
An exciting new opportunity to work with this Cambridge-based employer of choice. Initially available on a temporary basis for 2-3 months with a view to then becoming a permanent appointment, hybrid working is available.
Key areas of focus will pertain to: overseeing all end-to-end procurement activities across a wide range of spend; taking ownership for inventory management and ensuring that stock cycle counts, replenishment and all relevant goods in/goods out metrics are fulfilled; and provide reporting information across the function and stakeholder population.

Demonstrable experience across the above responsibilities with defined purchasing and inventory management expertise is required. Sector background is flexible with training and support being provided where there are knowledge gaps for the right candidate. A flexible, self-motivated and customer-focused approach to your work is essential with the ability to take ownership of key activities in a fast-paced working environment. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills are required, aligned with strong IT skills and a high attention to detail.
