Your new role

Interim Procurement Specialist:
Inside IR35 Full-Time for 6 months initially: May 25 – Oct 25
Hybrid Working- across home and office base, working 2 days a week in the office
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects, the role involves working in a team of specialists to deliver key responsibilities. The procurement role is key to achieving the procurement programme, driving cost savings and providing the right platform to drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the supply chain to deliver value. The procurement specialist will play a key role in delivering the procurement programme.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with significant experience in developing and executing strategic high-value highly complex transformational procurement projects. Knowledge of placing construction contracts under NEC essential.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic supplier relationships and partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of procurement regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
  • Analytical and data-driven with a proven track record of using data to inform strategic decisions, optimise processes, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations and IT security.
